Equal Rights

This story makes me proud to be a Canadian. Way to go, you crazy Canucks!

Addendum:
Well now we've got the party started! The Spanish are joining in the fun. It's a better world for it, I say. Just think of the weddings! Wheeeeeeeee!

Donna, I had the strangest dream this afternoon. In it I dreamt that you had mentioned me in a post. Well when I woke up and read what you wrote on the old board, I realised that you had mentioned me. Wonder what all this means? Sure felt strange but good at the same time. I always believe omens like this portend well for the future. Just had to share.

I didn't even open the link... as I'm quite sure you are referring to the passing of the Gay Marriage bill... am I right?

To which I say, it's about time! I too am just that much more proud to be Canadian today...

I too, am a very solid Christian, and was so pleased that this bill passed! I really believe, as Christians, that we have to promote loving the way Christ did - in a sincere, committed, non judgmental way. I'm proud to be Canadian too!

It's always nice to know that at least ONE country on this continent has the intelligence to combat bigotry.

I really think that as time goes along there will be more and more of these bills passed. At least, I fervently hope so.
